Anel Carmona is a multidisciplinary Theatre Artist originally from Mexico and based in New York City. She has participated in dozens of plays across North America. She is the author of plays such as Adios Fjord (Off-Broadway, Theater at Gibney), Ice Cream Fro-Yo (Hudson Guild Theater), The Church of the Winter (Gene Frankel Theatre), and Chocolate en la Estación (Teatro Jaime Torres Bodet). In 2020 her COVID-19 themed play "A Seis Pies de Distancia" had video production in Tabasco, Mexico and Alberta, Canada. It was also featured in the published anthology "De Pandemia a Pandemonium" in the Mexican Platform "Dramaturgia Mexicana." Her favorite acting credits include HallowStream (RSPC), Tales of the White Diamond Mountain (RSPC), Catch Me in America (Strike Anywhere Performance Ensemble), and Ti Jean and his Brothers (MA's Playhouse) among others.  Anel holds an MFA in Playwriting from The Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University; she is also an active member of the Playwrights and Directors Workshop at the Actors Studio and The Dramatists Guild of America.  ...

Lindsay Spangenthal is an Equity Actor, Voice Teacher, and Musical Director based out of NYC. She has previously musical directed productions of Matilda, James and the Giant Peach, Cinderella, Once on this Island, and Spring Awakening. On stage she was seen across America in Dragons Love Tacos and Other Stories. Past credits: Miss Watson in Big River, Cinderella in Into the Woods, and The Beggar Woman in Sweeney Todd. Maia is an actor, director, and singer based in Brooklyn, NY. Having just graduated from Connecticut College with a Bachelor's degree in Theater and Government, Naomi Miller is an inspiring actor and performer. She received initial theater training from the Brooklyn Academy of Music and was recently credited for her role as Assistant Director in a production of Cabaret at Connecticut College with the Chair of the Theater Department.  Naomi is thrilled to be a part of the community at Brooklyn Acting Lab as it will be a great opportunity to collaborate with fellow creative peers and students....

Robert Reddington is a Brooklyn based theatre-maker, educator, and arts administrator. Robert is a graduate of SUNY Purchase’s Conservatory of Theatre Arts with a dual major in Theatre & Performance (Acting) and Arts Management.  Robert is pursuing his Master’s in Educational Theatre (NYS K-12th Grade Certification) at City College.  Robert is a teaching artist across the city and guest lectures in arts education at SUNY Purchase.  Robert’s teaching artistry is rooted in applied theatre and draws from Augusto Boal’s pedagogy as a tool for community building, self-exploration, and civic engagement.  Robert is passionate about collaboration with students of all ages and the power of intergenerational learning.  Robert’s practice leads from an abolitionist lens by centering reality pedagogy and student choice....

Kadeem Alston-Roman hails from Brooklyn, New York and attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School for Music, Art and the Performing Arts (The Fame School) in New York City. He has choreographed over 65 dance pieces in a variety of dance genres that include: modern/contemporary, neo-classical ballet, street-jazz, Broadway jazz, tap, west African and liturgical dance. He has showcased his work at venues such as Madison Square Garden, The Prudential Center, American College Dance Festival, Harlem Summer Stage, Muhlenberg College, Lehigh University, SUNY Newpaltz, and the Harkness Dance Center where dance luminaries such as Martha Graham, Alvin Ailey, Robert Joffrey, and Lester Horton showcased their talent. It was here in which he was considered one of the "top seven emerging choreographers in New York City." His choreography has also been featured Off-Broadway in Play The Music Softly and Alive55+ and Kickin’ in which he received an AUDELCO Award nomination for Best Choreography. His work was also seen on television in CBS’ 60 Minutes. Although still choreographing, in October 2019, he transitioned from his full time work in the arts to that of holistic wellness. Claire McClain is a Brooklyn based actor, teaching artist, and collaborator with a soft spot for film. She received her MFA in Acting from The New School for Drama. She’s passionate about building self-esteem in coaching sessions, guiding students to trust their instincts. Claire’s recent work as an actor includes supporting cast member in the film, The Institute and a commercial for Zaxby’s and Ghostbusters. ...

Marina Colonna is a triple threat performer and teaching artist based in New York City. Marina attended the American Musical Dramatic Academy (AMDA, NYC) and received her BFA in Musical Theater from The New School. She acquires many off-broadway, regional theater, commercial, and short film credits through her years of performing experience. Aside from performing, her other great passions include teaching and well as directing/choreographing. She began teaching musical theater, acting, dance, and voice after graduating from college and has blossomed into a well-seasoned teacher/director throughout various programs in NYC and NJ, as well as developing her own programs. In addition to her career from many angles in the Performing Arts industry, she is also a Group Fitness Instructor. Timothy Gage is a New York City based theatre artist and educator. As an artist, Timothy works as a director and choreographer and has put up numerous shows with students ages 5 – 18. As an educator, he has taught acting, dance, writing, improv, speech, movement, and more to students ages 3 – 80. Timothy has taught at New York Theatre Workshop, Stagedoor Manor, TADA! Youth Theatre, A Class Act NY, and Millbrook Playhouse. He is also a member of the education staff at American Ballet Theatre. He holds a BA in Theatre Arts from SUNY New Paltz and is currently working towards his MA in Educational Theatre at NYU. He is so excited to be working with Brooklyn Acting Lab!...
