Sarah Kahn is a New York-based singer, director, and educator. She currently serves as the choral director at New Voices School of Academic and Creative Arts here in Brooklyn, where she most recently music directed Legally Blonde. She is a graduate of New York University with a B.M. in Music Education and a minor in Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology. At NYU, she led the revitalization of the education-focused student theater group, A Class Act. With this group, she directed Jason Robert Brown and Alfred Uhrie's Parade, as well as performed in Party Worth Crashing and The Addams Family. Her music direction credits include James and the Giant Peach, Into the Woods Jr., and Les Mis.  A self-proclaimed choral nerd, Sarah has sung in groups including the NYU Jazz Choir which performed on Good Morning America and toured through Japan. She has been inspired by countless arts educators throughout her life and hopes to bring arts education to as many students as possible....

Laura Bright is a singer, actor, and musician. She graduated from NYU with a B.M. in Vocal Performance/Music Theatre and a minor in Educational Theatre, which fueled her love of music and arts education. Her professional performance credits include Brigitta in The Sound of Recovery Music (RR Productions) and The Buddy Holly Story (North Carolina Theatre). She also served as the Assistant Music Director for West 4th Stage Co.’s production of Urinetown (dir. Taylor Haven Holt) and the Music Director for the Steinhardt Sings web-series and corresponding live concert at Feinstein’s/54 Below. Ben Boecker is a singer-songwriter, teaching artist, and voice teacher living and working in New York City. His full-length musical, “Spellbound! A Perfect Musical Fairytale” (NMI Search For New Musicals Grand Prize Winner 2016, Disney/NMI New Voices Award 2016) has been developed at the BMI Workshop, Andrew Lippas’ Writers’ Bloc, and Ken Davenport's Writers' Group. Ben has worked as an NYC teaching artist for five years with companies including TADA!, City Center, Usdan Arts Camp, Wingspan Arts, A Class Act, and the Open Hydrant Theater Company (The First Equity Theater Company in the Bronx.)  Ben has performed multiple times at 54 Below, Birdland, and the Hunterdon Hills Playhouse in NJ. Melina Finck was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and recently graduated as a double major in Theatre & Performance and Arts Management from SUNY Purchase College. She has significant experience working both with children and as an actor and is thrilled to be combining the two....

Jason Trager is an actor, musician, and teaching artist in NYC. He graduated from NYU with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama from the New Studio on Broadway. He has served as music director at NYU/Tisch and La MaMa ETC, as an as actor in a number of new play readings around the city, and has discovered his love of teaching through both piano and theater classes. Jason has recently begun working as a Teaching Artist at Atlantic Acting School and PlayOn! Studios, and is excited to work with the inspiring team of artists at Brooklyn Acting Lab. He is an avid student of clown and commedia dell'arte, a puppet enthusiast, and believes curiosity, wonder, and joy should be the core of every heart and every piece of art....

Kat Lee is an actively performing musician and composer who grew up moving around the world. Having grown up in Asia and Europe, her love for all kind of music is vast, with an emphasis on improvised music, songwriting and classics. She currently resides in Brooklyn, NY. She has performed with her band, Tiny Gun and with other musical groups all along the east coast. Her debut album "Crazy, I Can Be," will be out October 2018 and her solo EP will follow shortly afterwards. Kat is a New School graduate, where she received her BFA in Vocal Performance from The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, and her BA in Media/Communications from Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts.  She has been teaching private voice and guitar lessons and has a passion for hands on teaching with an emphasis on vocal technique, improvisation and composition....

Jessica Yagoda is a Children's Theatre Director and Teaching Artist based out of Hoboken, NJ. She founded Page to Stage, a children's theatre program for Niagara Falls youth during her senior year of college. Graduating with a B.F.A. in Theatre Performance from Niagara University ('16), she brought Creative Drama with Jessica to Central NJ. Itching to be even closer to the city, she recently moved to Hoboken where in addition to working at Brooklyn Acting Lab, she is a Teaching Artist at Hoboken Children's Theatre. Jessica was selected to receive a scholarship to be a New York Stage & Film and Vassar College Powerhouse Acting Apprentice in 2014, where her studies included Soundpainting taught my Mark Lindberg. Jessica has over 13 years of experience growing up at Victoria Buda's Academy of Theatrical Arts. Here she wore many hats, including Performer, Intern, Choreographer, Stage Manager, Lighting Designer, Teaching Artist and Assistant Director for countless productions. But her favorite hat to wear is Paparazzi to her pug, Chloe. Due to personal experience, Jessica's mission is to make theatre available to every child, especially at-risk youth....

Danielle is thrilled to be choreographing “The Wizard of Oz” for BAL this summer! She has had the good fortune to work all over the country as a performer, teacher, director and choreographer. Danielle’s recent performing credits include “The Pajama Game” and “Jerry’s Girls” at the Gallery Players here in Park Slope, “Motel Rasdell” directed by Tony Award winner Michele Pawk and The Evil Queen in “Snow White and the Battle for Pittsburgh”at the Heights Players. Other performing credits include: Lisa and u/s for Sophie in the original Las Vegas Company of “Mamma Mia!,” Dorothy in “The Wizard of Oz” (TUTS in Houston), Velma Kelly in “Chicago”, Sally Bowles in “Cabaret”, Erma in “Anything Goes” directed by Tony nominee Marcia Milgrom Dodge and the Snow Queen in “Snow Queen” for the late film director Garry Marshall. Danielle’s New York City teaching experience includes instruction in music theatre, dance, acting and choreography with various companies throughout the city including Applause, Stagecoach and New York Kids Club.
