WELCOME TO BAL

Stay “creatively connected” with Brooklyn Acting Lab! BAL has been serving the Brooklyn community by offering theater classes, workshops, and live performances since 2007. We believe that the arts are essential, and no matter the circumstances the BAL community can always find moments of collective JOY together!

After-School Programs

Offered at multiple locations in Park Slope, BAL’s after-school theater programs are immersive theatrical adventures and provide PK-12 students an opportunity to play, dance, move, and engage in guided dramatic play and improvisation.

Private Coaching | Audition Prep

Brooklyn Acting Lab offers private singing lessons, acting coaching, and audition prep. Our team of professional actors and performers will work with students to grow as a performer, build technique, feel confident, and have fun!

Summer Camps & Programs

Spend your summer performing, creating, imagining and having fun with Brooklyn Acting Lab. BAL’s immersive summer acting programs and theater camps are facilitated safely for grades K thru 8th.

School Breaks & Holidays

Aligning with the NYC public school calendar, Brooklyn Acting Lab’s School & Holiday Break Programs are designed to inspire students – when they’re off from school – as they design props, costumes, set pieces, choreography and songs or pieces of music.

BAL Productions

BAL Productions are community affairs, woven from the rich fabric of social, cultural, and environmental factors that are organic to Brooklyn neighborhoods. Buy tickets and learn more about our past and upcoming productions here.

Support BAL

Please help keep the BAL magic alive. Brooklyn Acting Lab has been serving our community since 2008 and nothing is going to change that, but today we need your support, so that tomorrow, when we come together again we are strong.
