The health and safety of the youth we serve and their families, the teaching artists we work with, and BAL employees is our number one priority.
Proof of vaccination is required for all BAL teaching artists, admin, contractors, and staff.
If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us at admin@brooklynactinglab.org.
Here are the guidelines we are adhering to so we can do our maximum to keep everyone safe and healthy:
Kids will be dropped off and picked up at the BAL entrance. Parents/caregivers will not enter the BAL space .
We will only dismiss your child to a parent/guardian/or authorized pick-up that has been noted on your registration form.
At BAL, masks are optional except….
-In the event that the child/teaching artist/staff member has had close contact with someone with covid, they must wear a well-fitting mask for 10 days (from exposure).
-If a child/teaching artist/staff member has tested positive for covid, they may return on day 5 as long as they are fever and symptom free (without the use of fever-reducing medication). They must wear a well fitting mask through day 10 from the positive test result or onset of symptoms.
To ensure a safe and hygienic learning environment BAL will do the following:
We ask all parents/guardians to immediately notify us if your child has any Covid symptoms or has had close contact with anyone who has tested positive for Covid.
If a contractor/employee tests positive for Covid-19, BAL will immediately notify families of the children who had close contact with the individual, while maintaining confidentiality required by state and federal law and regulations.
If a child in one of the ensembles tests positive for Covid-19, BAL will notify families of the children who had close contact with the individual, while maintaining confidentiality required by state and federal law and regulations.
