Program Description

Join us for Summer Intensives with Brooklyn Acting Lab: at The K-293 Campus in Cobble Hill!

BAL’s Summer Intensives are theater workshops designed specifically for rising 4th-8th graders. Programs run from July 6th-August 28th at the K293 Campus in Cobble Hill.

Intensives cover a range of intriguing areas: from a musical theater bootcamp to acting on-camera. Young people will learn how to perform a monologue, sing an audition cut, slate for the camera, and improvise. Sing, dance and act all summer long with our staff of professional actors, directors and choreographers! Summer Intensives are open to every experience level! Whether your child is seriously considering a performing arts school, wants to explore theatrical activities, or is simply looking to have fun and make new friends in the community, these workshops deliver. Sign up for one or more weeks!

The BAL Summer Theater Intensives “sharing” are scheduled for Fridays at 2:30 PM in the K293 auditorium. We encourage parents and/or caregivers to join, however we do understand that scheduling is sometimes difficult. As long as your child knows in advance, our staff will always be present for your children as their “audience,” and will provide a lot of support!
