Program Description
If you always wondered what it was like to be an actor, this week is for you! Where does an actor begin? How do they dig into the written word and use their imagination and instrument to bring the text to life? Students will explore the basics of script analysis, subtext, and use improvisation to explore character, relationship, and circumstances. The week will culminate with performances of modern scenes and monologues from popular movies and plays and will also feature some original material written by the actors! We’ll invite our families and friends to see our performance on Friday afternoon at 2:30pm.
