Annie is an actor and teacher currently based in Falls Church, VA. Most recently, she originated the role of Jean in the world premiere of Charles Mee’s dystopian New York drama Coney Island Avenue at New York Theatre Workshop.  Previously, she played Moran in T.A.B. at the HERE Arts Center, Queen Elizabeth in Richard 3 at LaMama, ETC., Mrs. Smith in the Bald Soprano at the New York Fringe Festival, Lucetta in Two Gentleman of Verona at the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, and Princess Ivona in Princess Ivona at Horace Mann Theatre. Film roles include Rammy Park’s The Homecoming Queen premiering at IFP.  Directing credits include The Gifted Program and Crimes of the Heart in State College, PA. She has assistant directed Phil Soltanoff in the Macbeth Project. Annie has produced work with Anjali Vashi (Coney Island Avenue) and Lucy Smith Conroy (blessed unrest theatre company).  Annie earned her BFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and her MFA from Columbia University where she earned a Laura Pel’s Foundation Grant.  She was also a professor of acting and directing at Manhattanville College in NY.
