Ally Tufenkjian is a recent graduate of Eugene Lang College where she earned a Bachelor’s of Arts and a Bachelor’s in Psychology. Originally determined to become a musical theater performer, Ally began to pursue socially-relevant theater, interning for Ping Chong & Company and performing with Infinite Variety Productions, a theater company dedicated to sharing women’s stories. She worked with IVP on Eclipsed, a play inspired by true stories of women living in the Magdalene Laundries of Ireland.  After its Manhattan run, Eclipsed and company were invited to perform at the Survivors Network of Those Abused by Priests (SNAP) Convention in Washington, DC.  Ally is also an active educator; she interned for the Theater Development Fund and is an instructor and founding member of Healthclass2.0, a non-profit startup that holds fitness and nutrition sessions in low-income public schools. Ally is thrilled to be working with the cast and creative team of Brooklyn Acting Lab’s new production.
