This year, Halloween will be different than in years past, but BAL is committed to celebrating safely and keeping the "spirit" alive for our community of friends and families! On Halloween morning, we will meet at 10 AM at (11th Street & PPW) for a socially distanced parade in Prospect Park followed by a Monster Mash dance party and some candy surprises!...

BAL’s theater programs for teens and tweens are designed to empower young adults, support social-emotional needs, encourage commitment, and foster teamwork. Outdoor classes like Improv & Sketch, Little Women, Acting on Camera , and Little Shop of Horrors make the “weird” into “wonderful” and are tons of fun!...

This Fall, the theater magic of BAL continues with programming outdoors in Prospect Park and online in the Zoom Theater. BAL is fresh-off our first week of outdoor programming and it was fabulous to see so many happy faces creating "theater magic" safely, and in-person! We had such a blast that we're adding an extra 1.5 hours to each day's outdoor programming. Both Young Players (1st-4th) and Summer Intensives (5th-8th) will now run from 9am-1pm, Mon-Thurs. That's almost "twice the nice" for the same price!...

Words are not enough right now. But we will not be silent. We are outraged and broken-hearted. We mourn the loss of George Floyd. We grieve the brutal and tragic murders of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and countless other innocent Black lives. Enough. We must do better. And the change we want to see in the world must start with ourselves....
