Program Description

In this 45-minute experience, meditation teacher and sound therapy practitioner, Kadeem, guides participants through easy and relaxing breathing and visualization techniques to help calm the mind and emotions. This will also be paired with the soothing, yet rich sounds of Tibetan singing bowls, an instrument that produces varying tonal vibrations and known to help alleviate stress and bring the body back into a state of balance and homeostasis.

About Kadeem Alston-Roman

Kadeem Alston-Roman hails from Brooklyn, New York and attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School for Music, Art and the Performing Arts (The Fame School) in New York City. He has choreographed over 65 dance pieces in a variety of dance genres that include: modern/contemporary, neo-classical ballet, street-jazz, Broadway jazz, tap, west African and liturgical dance. Although still choreographing, in October 2019, Kadeem transitioned from his full time work in the arts to that of holistic wellness. He is trained and certified in energy healing, aromatherapy, sound therapy, meditation and hypnotherapy. Through studying and practicing these forms since 2013, he has used his skills and abilities to help organizations and individuals increase their quality of life.
