Sarah Kahn is a New York-based singer, director, and educator. She currently serves as the choral director at New Voices School of Academic and Creative Arts here in Brooklyn, where she most recently music directed Legally Blonde. She is a graduate of New York University with a B.M. in Music Education and a minor in Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology. At NYU, she led the revitalization of the education-focused student theater group, A Class Act. With this group, she directed Jason Robert Brown and Alfred Uhrie’s Parade, as well as performed in Party Worth Crashing and The Addams Family. Her music direction credits include James and the Giant Peach, Into the Woods Jr., and Les Mis. A self-proclaimed choral nerd, Sarah has sung in groups including the NYU Jazz Choir which performed on Good Morning America and toured through Japan. She has been inspired by countless arts educators throughout her life and hopes to bring arts education to as many students as possible.
