Lauren Brickman is a New York based actor, writer, and teaching artist. Lauren holds a BFA in acting from Adelphi University and her MFA in acting from the University of Iowa. Lauren has worked with The Penobscot Theatre Company, Iowa Summer Rep, Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park, Oklahoma Children’s Theatre, Curious Frog Productions, and her own company TwentyNothings Productions which recently produced “Hair of the Dog” of which Lauren co-wrote and co-starred in. Lauren performs improv comedy all over NY with several indie teams and is on the Queens Secret Improv Club house team, Zealand which performs every Friday night in Long Island City. Lauren has taught at Adelphi University, University of Iowa, Market Street Theatre School, City Arts Center, Oklahoma Children’s Theatre, and The Edmond Fine Arts Institute. Lauren works as an Artistsitter for Sitters Studio and is currently developing an original Web Series, “Sitters.”
