Amber has been singing since she was a little girl, sitting in the picture window of the house where she grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. She believes that everyone has a voice, you just have to find your song!

Classically trained in music and theater at Fordham College Lincoln Center, she has traveled the world performing with the various productions including the North American tour of Jesus Christ Superstar and Disney Cruise Lines’ The Lion King. Amber had the honor of beginning her teaching career teaching musical theater at The Harlem School of the Arts and Barnard College’s Girl Scouts program in 2007. She immediately recognized her passion for connecting with young people and learning from their unfiltered whimsy & imagination. Amber continued teaching children’s theater in Los Angeles at The Adderley School for the Performing Arts and Upstage Theatre School. Here she began her own private studio for voice & acting lessons, instructing both children & adults citywide.

In 2014, Amber began touring with It Gets Better, a project of the Gay Men’s Chorus of San Francisco, traveling to communities nationwide to produce a week of educational workshops in schools focusing on a message of anti-bullying & inclusion. This was a unique opportunity for her to truly live out her passions for performance, travel and community activism. She recently premiered her solo cabaret, You Can’t Act A Color in Los Angeles.
