AFTER SCHOOL THEATER PROGRAM

In the Mini Musical program students will explore Stories of the Sea. Through guided improvisation they will create characters and stories inspired by the sea. We will look at songs from the musicals The Little Mermaid, Sponge Bob Square Pants, and others. Get ready for the sea shanties! Ahoy maties and mermaids!  Throughout the play-making, students will develop their vocal, movement, and acting skills. Every student gets a part and will work with teaching artists to develop their characters through an ensemble-based rehearsal process.

Families will be invited to an informal share during class time on December 14th to see what the ensemble has created. This is the week before the final class.
