Program Description
In the Mini Musical Mash-Up program students will create their own original musical based on the theme Oz. Source material and inspiration will include Wicked, The Wiz, and The Wizard of Oz. The musical will include short scenes, songs and choreography. Participants will develop their vocal, movement, and acting skills. Every student gets a part and will work with teaching artists to develop their characters through an ensemble-based rehearsal process. We will have a shared performance for family and friends on the last day of class, Jan 31.
On January 31st there will be an in-studio performance at BAL.
