Program Description
In the Mini Musical program students will create their own original musical based on the theme Dear Diary. Source material and inspiration will include Diary of a Wimpy Kid and other diary-themed books/movies. The musical will include short scenes, songs and choreography. Participants will develop their vocal, movement, and acting skills. Every student gets a part and will work with teaching artists to develop their characters through an ensemble-based rehearsal process. We will have a shared performance for family and friends on the last day of class, January 29th.
On January 29th there will be an in-studio performance at BAL.

- BAL picks up at the following schools: PK 280, PS 10, 39, 107, 118, 130,154, 295, 321, Berkeley Carroll, Poly Prep, St. Savior, and The Roberts Field School.
- If your school is not on this list, please email us at admin@brooklynactinglab.org. We will do our very best to coordinate a pick-up from your child’s school.
