French Theater + Language Summer 2019
BAL is going to France!
We are very pleased and excited to announce that this year we will be launching our first-ever French Artistic and Cultural Exchange.
Teens ages 13–16 will have an artistic, cultural and language immersion just off the coast of Cannes, France, on the historic Sainte Marguerite Island. Travel to the South of France, take in the deep blue Mediterranean Sea and dive into the world of theater, art, dance and music from some of France’s top professionals. Throughout the three-week session, teens will immerse themselves in French culture, history and language, soaking in the French joie de vivre.
Balancing French language and artistic workshops, participants will have plenty of adventure activities and cultural excursions around the Riviera under the supervision and support of our highly-trained staff and educators, led by Murat Ozcan and Rebecca Kenigsberg.
A detailed itinerary will be sent out closer to the date, but expect days filled with performance workshops, French lessons, water activities, and site-seeing, all with a pain au chocolat in hand. The three weeks will culminate in a student-driven performance.
