4/20/22: Indoor – Zoo Stories
Join us at BAL South Slope on April 20th!
Brooklyn Acting Lab is OPEN on Wednesday, April 20th (Spring Break) for a PLAY in a Day! Drop your child off at Brooklyn Acting Lab South Slope (56 Windsor Place) for a day of creativity and dramatic play. Ever wonder what happens at the Zoo after all visitors leave and the zookeepers lock up for the night? Let’s find out! We’ll create our own theatrical BAL Zoo and become the animals! We’ll create costume pieces and explore what it feels like to be different animals. As we navigate the basics of acting techniques, we’ll devise our own animal celebration through theatrical games, improvised scenes, dancing and singing! Remember, “It’s all happening at the Zoo!”
Join us AT Brooklyn Acting lab
- Who: Open to kids in Grades K-4
- When: 9AM-3PM on School Breaks and Holidays
- Where: Brooklyn Acting Lab: 56 Windsor Place, Brooklyn, Brooklyn
What to Bring / Wear
- Please send your child with lunch, a snack, a bottle of water, hand sanitizer, and an extra clean mask. All kids should wear clothes that they can move comfortably in.

Cancellations
- BAL will not offer a refund if you cancel your registration for a PLAY in a Day program.
- BAL reserves the right to cancel a program due to insufficient enrollment. If the program is cancelled, you will be issued a refund or if you choose, a credit.
Join us in Prospect Park to Create a PLAY in a Day!
- Who: Open to kids in Grades K-5
- When: 9AM-3PM on School Breaks and Holidays
- Where: We meet and are released at the 11th Street entrance to Prospect Park
What to Bring / Wear
- Please send your child with a snack, a bottle of water, hand sanitizer, a towel or mat to sit on, and an extra clean mask.
- All kids should wear sneakers and clothes that they can move comfortably in.
- In rain, snow or very cold weather, we will move to the Zoom theater
