Join us at BAL South Slope on June 20th!
Brooklyn Acting Lab is OPEN on Thursday, June 20th (Juneteenth) for a PLAY in a Day! Whether you’re In the Heights or taking the A Train downtown, New York City is full of culture and stories. Join us as we explore the boroughs of New York and learn about their cultures, songs, and dances. Summer in the City means a festival on every block, what kind of festival will the actors at BAL build? What are the neighborhood characters in each borough up to? Whether you’re Mets or Yankees, Uptown or Downtown, this Play in a Day will put you in a New York State of Mind!
Join us AT Brooklyn Acting lab
- Who: Open to kids in Grades K-4
- When: 9AM-3PM on School Breaks and Holidays
- Where: Brooklyn Acting Lab: 56 Windsor Place, Brooklyn, Brooklyn
What to Bring / Wear
- Please send your child with lunch, a snack, a bottle of water, hand sanitizer, and an extra clean mask. All kids should wear clothes that they can move comfortably in.

Cancellations
- BAL will not offer a refund if you cancel your registration for a PLAY in a Day program.
- BAL reserves the right to cancel a program due to insufficient enrollment. If the program is cancelled, you will be issued a refund or if you choose, a credit.
Join us in Prospect Park to Create a PLAY in a Day!
- Who: Open to kids in Grades K-5
- When: 9AM-3PM on School Breaks and Holidays
- Where: We meet and are released at the 11th Street entrance to Prospect Park
What to Bring / Wear
- Please send your child with a snack, a bottle of water, hand sanitizer, a towel or mat to sit on, and an extra clean mask.
- All kids should wear sneakers and clothes that they can move comfortably in.
- In rain, snow or very cold weather, we will move to the Zoom theater
