Brooklyn Acting Lab is OPEN on November 1st for a PLAY in a Day
Spend your day making it up as you go along! Just show up as you are, ready to play. Over the course of the day we will play improvisational theater games that allow young artists to learn through experience the fundamental building blocks of improvisation…like yes and…! Connect with fellow humans IRL and make some new friends in the process. We guarantee you’ll have a few laughs too. In the afternoon, we will play with building sketches through improv. Get ready for SNL!
Join us AT Brooklyn Acting lab
- Who: Open to kids in Grades K-4 and 5th-8th
- When: 9AM-3PM
- Where: Brooklyn Acting Lab: 56 Windsor Place (K-4th) and 1012 8th Avenue (5th-8th)
What to Bring / Wear
- Please send your child with lunch, two snacks, and a bottle of water. All kids should wear clothes and shoes that they can move comfortably in.
Cancellations
- BAL will not offer a refund if you cancel your registration for a PLAY in a Day program.
- BAL reserves the right to cancel a program due to insufficient enrollment. If the program is cancelled, you will be issued a refund or if you choose, a credit.
Join us in Prospect Park to Create a PLAY in a Day!
- Who: Open to kids in Grades K-5
- When: 9AM-3PM on School Breaks and Holidays
- Where: We meet and are released at the 11th Street entrance to Prospect Park
What to Bring / Wear
- Please send your child with a snack, a bottle of water, hand sanitizer, a towel or mat to sit on, and an extra clean mask.
- All kids should wear sneakers and clothes that they can move comfortably in.
- In rain, snow or very cold weather, we will move to the Zoom theater
