Brooklyn Acting Lab, is currently looking for theatre educators and practitioners, designers (lighting, costume, set), choreographers, musicians, and playwrights for our youth programming.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children (Pre-K through 8th grades) in an after-school setting. We are looking for individuals who are experienced in and enthusiastic about devising new work with young people and feel confident and comfortable leading ensembles of 10-15 participants.

Our theater making is driven by the dreams, ideas and inquiries of the youth and adults we work with, process drama. We support learners on their journey of discovery and stimulate their thinking through interdisciplinary arts-practices.
BAL partners with schools and community based organizations to provide arts-in-education programming, performances, and events, collaborating across the performing arts in order to exchange work and ideas with artists nationally and internationally.
