Where does an actor begin? How do they dig into the written word and use their imagination and instrument to bring the text to life? Students will explore the basics of script analysis, subtext, and use improvisation to explore character, relationship, and circumstances. The session will culminate with performances of modern scenes and monologues from popular movies and plays and will also feature some original material written by the actors on the last day of class, Jan. 31.

On January 31st there will be an in-studio performance at BAL.
