Program Description


Take a deep dive into learning acting techniques to prepare you for the stage. Young actors will work on age-appropriate monologues and scenes. In this workshop young actors will: develop a physical relaxation practice and build their concentration analyze scripts and explore obstacles and tactics trust their impulses and make bold choices explore their voice and connect to it on a deeper level connect with their ensemble members by listening and sharing experience the joy of playing, building characters, and creating collaboratively.

This is an appropriate workshop for students wanting to work on monologues for middle and high school auditions.

Families will be invited to an informal share on December 15th during class time to see what the ensemble has been working on. This is the week before the final class.
