11/11/19 @ Albee Dance: Space Oddity (David Bowie)
Schools may be closed for Veteran’s Day but Brooklyn Acting Lab is OPEN on Monday, November 11th! Drop your child off for a special PLAY in a DAY program themed around outer-space and the music of David Bowie!
3,2,1 Blastoff! We are going to space! First we will build a spaceship and then we will take an adventure to outer space. Is there life on Mars? What does it feel like to have a dance party on the moon? This immersive drama will be scored by the music of Bowie so bring your shoes and let’s dance!
9 AM – 5 PM @ Albee Dance. Early Drop Off and After Care available. The PLAY will be shared at the end of the day (4:30 PM) and family/friends are invited to attend. Additional details below.
Join us AT Brooklyn Acting lab
- Who: Open to kids in Grades K-4 and 5th-8th
- When: 9AM-3PM
- Where: Brooklyn Acting Lab: 56 Windsor Place (K-4th) and 1012 8th Avenue (5th-8th)
What to Bring / Wear
- Please send your child with lunch, two snacks, and a bottle of water. All kids should wear clothes and shoes that they can move comfortably in.
Cancellations
- BAL will not offer a refund if you cancel your registration for a PLAY in a Day program.
- BAL reserves the right to cancel a program due to insufficient enrollment. If the program is cancelled, you will be issued a refund or if you choose, a credit.
Join us in Prospect Park to Create a PLAY in a Day!
- Who: Open to kids in Grades K-5
- When: 9AM-3PM on School Breaks and Holidays
- Where: We meet and are released at the 11th Street entrance to Prospect Park
What to Bring / Wear
- Please send your child with a snack, a bottle of water, hand sanitizer, a towel or mat to sit on, and an extra clean mask.
- All kids should wear sneakers and clothes that they can move comfortably in.
- In rain, snow or very cold weather, we will move to the Zoom theater
