Magdalyn Donnelly is an MFA graduate of The Shakespeare Theatre’s Academy for Classical Acting at The George Washington University. Prior to graduate school Magdalyn performed and taught theatre and improvisation with several theatre companies throughout the United States including the Great Lakes Theatre Festival (OH), Opera For Everyone (PA), Montana Shakespeare in the Parks (MT), and the North Carolina Shakespeare Festival (NC). Magdalyn resides in NYC and continues to perform and teach with companies all over the United States. She is a company member of the 34West Theatre Company in Charleston, SC and currently teaches drama with the Brooklyn Acting School. She is a teaching artist with Stages on the Sound and the Stage Theater School in NYC and teaches Shakespeare with the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Magdalyn recently received training with TATI (Teaching Artist Training Institute) which specializes in arts education for special needs students. She is also a skilled puppeteer.
