SummerPrograms

Young PLAYers Theater is an immersive, play-centered program where children dream up and bring to life their own theatrical worlds. Inspired by each week's theme, students collaboratively create characters, settings, and stories through imaginative play and guided prompts. Throughout the week, children explore movement and physical storytelling, improvisation and dramatic play, music and song, and theater design, creating simple props and set pieces along the way. On Friday, families are invited to enjoy a joyful performance sharing of the original piece the ensemble has created together.

Summer Intensives offer older students the opportunity to dive deeper into themed theatrical training and production. Students strengthen their skills in acting, movement, voice, and ensemble storytelling while working collaboratively on scenes, songs, and full performances. Each intensive culminates in a performance that showcases students' growth, creativity, and collaboration.

Mini-Musicals invite young performers to explore a theme-inspired musical theater world through acting, singing, and movement. Students learn songs, develop characters, and rehearse scenes while building confidence, collaboration, and ensemble skills. The program culminates in a performance for families that celebrates the students' work and love of musical storytelling.

The Teen Musical is a rigorous, ensemble-driven musical theater experience for young performers. Students rehearse and perform a full-scale musical while developing technique in character work, vocal performance, movement, and storytelling. The program culminates in a final performance for family and friends, celebrating the students' commitment, artistry, and collaborative process.
