Sebastián Zúñiga is a Brooklyn-based actor, mover, and teaching artist. Sebastian holds a BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where he studied at the Lee Strasberg Institute, Experimental Theatre Wing, and the International Theatre Workshop in Amsterdam. Directing credits include: Pajama Talks (Chain Theatre) and That Big Voice Inside My Head (Hudson Guild Theatre). As a stage actor, he has performed at Classic Stage Company, BAAD!, The Producer’s Club, St. Mark’s Underground, Teatro LATEA, The Chain, INTAR, The Working Theater, Sol Project, Bayview Music Festival in Michigan, and Dixon Place. Recent Film/TV credits include: Revelations (LIU MFA Pilot Presentation), Northbound Escape (Young Prospects LLC), Dream Baby Dream (Heroism Productions), and background in A Complete Unknown (Searchlight Pictures). Sebastián is currently a Company Member of the American Mime Theater.
Sebastián has worked as an educator in Puerto Rico and NYC. In 2022, he created an Exploratory Theater Intensive in partnership with the renowned Escuela Nueva Pedagogía in Caguas, Puerto Rico. In 2023, he returned to Puerto Rico to teach 1st-11th Grade Drama and ESL at ENP. Sebastián also served as the Lead Drama Teacher at Success Academy (Rockaway and East Flatbush) from 2023-2025, directing four student productions. He is currently on faculty at the Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute as a Method Acting and Movement teacher. And, of course, he is a proud faculty member of Brooklyn Acting Lab! Pa'lante!
