Kat Lee is an actively performing musician and composer who grew up moving around the world. Having grown up in Asia and Europe, her love for all kinds of music is vast, with an emphasis on improvised music, songwriting and classics. She currently resides in Brooklyn, NY. She has performed with her band, Tiny Gun and with other musical groups all along the east coast. Her debut album "Crazy, I Can Be," will be out October 2018 and her solo EP will follow shortly afterwards. Kat is a New School graduate, where she received her BFA in Vocal Performance from The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, and her BA in Media/Communications from Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts. She has been teaching private voice and guitar lessons and has a passion for hands on teaching with an emphasis on vocal technique, improvisation and composition. She’s previously worked with BAL’s Play in a Days, Summer programs, Musical Revue & with BAL’s after-school programs PS107.
