Jasmine Maldonado (she/her) is a New York based writer, actor and dancer from Houston, Texas. She joined the Brooklyn Acting Lab family in 2021. Over the years Jasmine has had a blast developing original scripts, directing and choreographing for BAL’s young artists.
Favorite credits include: On Your Feet! (Engeman Theater), West Side Story (Arglye Theater), ¡Corre, Abuelita, Run! (NYCCT, Workshop/Tour) Avenue Q (Obsidian Theater).
Training and Education: The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, BA in Creative Writing, Dance Composition/Hawkins Technique with Gloria McLean. Direction from Chryssie Whitehead-Disbrow, Diane Ciesla, Nathan Brewer, and Gene Castel.
