Cherise Kimoy is a dedicated, risk-taking artist originally from Miami, FL. She received a BFA in Acting from the UCF then professionally performed regionally; featured in musicals, plays, original works, readings, TV and film opportunities. After being in rooms with such creative minds, a love for playwriting became a seed that was planted in her. She is a recent NYU Tisch MFA Dramatic Writing graduate, where she further nurtured those seeds, birthing beautiful stories, and shares those tools in her classroom. She has spread joy in the classroom as a teaching artist for about eight years, creating fun, safe, and authentic spaces for students to grow and learn!
