Amanda is a New York native and Brooklyn-based arts educator, actor, writer, and vocalist. She is a multidisciplinary artist who believes in the power of collaboration, storytelling, and being a silly goose. As a performer, Amanda has appeared on NBC’s Sunnyside, created and starred in digital content for Glamour, Comedy Central, Snapchat, and more. She is a generator of characters and a vocal chameleon who has lent her voice to animated, commercial, and digital projects. She has performed across New York and Los Angeles at Williamstown Theatre Festival, Upright Citizens Brigade, Rockwell Table & Stage, 54 Below, and Ars Nova. Amanda holds a BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. She is continually inspired by young performers’ uninhibited ideas; they have taught her to be brave and to never underestimate the creative potential of a cardboard box. When she’s not teaching, you can find her walking her rescue pit bull around Brooklyn and filling her notebook with weird little doodles.
