Registration, Payment & Cancellation Policy

Please review the policy details for school-year programs, summer programs, and PLAY in a Day registrations before enrolling.

School-Year Programs

School-Year Programs (Fall 2026)

Tuition must be paid in full by August 14th, 2026. No refunds, credits, or transfers after that date.

Tuition for Fall 2026 programs must be paid in full no later than August 14th, 2026. Brooklyn Acting Lab cannot hold a student's space in a program if payment is not received by August 14th, 2026.

No refunds, credits, or transfers will be issued for School-Year Programs after August 14th, 2026.

Program Changes Due to Circumstances Beyond BAL's Control

If in-person programming must be suspended due to public health requirements, government mandates, weather emergencies, facility closures, or other circumstances beyond Brooklyn Acting Lab's control, BAL reserves the right to continue programming in an alternative format, including online or outdoor instruction.

No refunds, credits, or tuition reductions will be issued if programming is moved online, outdoors, or otherwise modified due to circumstances beyond BAL's control.

Program Cancellation by BAL

Brooklyn Acting Lab reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment or other operational considerations.

If BAL cancels a program before it begins, families will be offered either a full refund or a credit toward another BAL program.

Program credits issued by BAL will remain valid through June 30th, 2027.

Summer Session

Summer Programs

No refunds, credits, or transfers will be issued after May 1st, 2026.

No refunds, credits, or transfers will be issued after May 1st, 2026.

Requests to transfer enrollment from one week to another must be submitted by email to admin@brooklynactinglab.org at least two (2) weeks before the originally registered program week.

Week transfers are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

Approved transfers are subject to a $40 administrative fee.

Summer Program Changes Due to Circumstances Beyond BAL's Control

If in-person summer programming must be suspended due to public health requirements, government mandates, weather emergencies, facility closures, or other circumstances beyond BAL's control, BAL may continue programming through alternative formats, including online or outdoor instruction.

No refunds, credits, or tuition reductions will be issued if programming is moved online, outdoors, or otherwise modified due to circumstances beyond BAL's control.

Summer Program Cancellation by BAL

If BAL cancels a summer program due to insufficient enrollment or other operational considerations, families will be offered either a full refund or a credit toward another BAL program.

Program credits issued by BAL will remain valid through June 20th, 2027.

PLAY in a Day

PLAY in a Day Registration & Cancellation Policy

Full payment is required at registration. Cancellation credits require seven (7) days notice.

Full payment is required at the time of registration to reserve your child's space.

Cancellations made at least seven (7) days prior to the registered PLAY in a Day date are eligible for a credit toward a future Brooklyn Acting Lab program.

No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations made fewer than seven (7) days before the registered date.

Registrations may be transferred to another PLAY in a Day date, subject to availability, if requested at least seven (7) days prior to the registered date.

Program Changes or Cancellation

Brooklyn Acting Lab reserves the right to cancel a PLAY in a Day program due to insufficient enrollment, severe weather, facility issues, or other circumstances beyond our control.

If BAL cancels a PLAY in a Day program, families will be offered either a full refund or a credit toward a future BAL program.

If in-person programming must be modified due to public health requirements, government mandates, facility closures, weather emergencies, or other circumstances beyond BAL's control, BAL reserves the right to move programming outdoors, online, or to an alternate location.

No refunds or credits will be issued if programming is modified in this manner.
