Allison Houser is a Brooklyn based performer, director, producer and teaching artist. She studied at NYU Tisch School of the Arts where she graduated with a BFA in Acting. Her training includes Shakespearean studies at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, advanced Meisner at NYU, Film and Television studies at Stonestreet Studios and Improv at UCB. Most recently, she directed a sold-out production of When We Were Young and Unafraid by Sarah Treem at the IATI theatre. She also played the Porter in a site-specific production of Macbeth with the No Name Collective, where she is a collective member. Allison has a deep love for collaborative storytelling and any way in which she can do that is a dream. She is so excited to be working with Brooklyn Acting Lab.
