ELYSE LEWIS

Elyse Lewis is a drama educator, artist, and activist living in Brooklyn. She is currently pursuing her master’s in Educational Theatre at New York University. Prior to studying at NYU, she received her bachelor of arts in Drama & Theatre and Women’s Studies at McGill University and worked as an arts administrator in her home state of Massachusetts. Her performance background is rooted in musical theatre, physical comedy, and clown. When teaching with Brooklyn Acting Lab, her classes usually involve creative play, silly songs, and a few puppets.
