Kristin Rose Kelly (she/her/hers) is a director, documentary playwright, and teaching artist. Original work includes: Momologues (Fresh Fruit Festival):a queer maternal documentary play, Big Kitty in the Big City (The Tank): a fat liberation cabaret, Duets of Difference (University Settlement): a dance-theatre piece exploring disparate community identities, A Chip On Her Shoulder: a documentary play about women in Engineering (NYU,Columbia University, City, Queens, and Brooklyng College). She is currently working on a documentary play about midwives and labor and an anthology film about suburbia. Kristin received her MFA in Directing and Public Dialogue from Virginia Tech. As a Teaching Artist, Kristin has worked with Verbatim Performance Lab at NYU, Queering Education Research Institute, Village Wholehearted Community School, YM & YWHA of Washington Heights, and Creative Arts Team. She is thrilled to be joining the BAL leadership team. Kristin has directed many memorable BAL productions including Alice in Wonderland and Little of Shop of Horrors in Prospect Park and The Wizard of Oz and Seussical Jr. at The Mark O'Donnell Theater and Brooklyn School of Music. Jessica Yagoda is a Children's Theatre Director and Teaching Artist based out of Hoboken, NJ. She founded Page to Stage, a children's theatre program for Niagara Falls youth during her senior year of college. Graduating with a B.F.A. in Theatre Performance from Niagara University ('16), she brought Creative Drama with Jessica to Central NJ. Itching to be even closer to the city, she recently moved to Hoboken where in addition to working at Brooklyn Acting Lab, she is a Teaching Artist at Hoboken Children's Theatre. Jessica was selected to receive a scholarship to be a New York Stage & Film and Vassar College Powerhouse Acting Apprentice in 2014, where her studies included Soundpainting taught my Mark Lindberg. Jessica has over 13 years of experience growing up at Victoria Buda's Academy of Theatrical Arts. Here she wore many hats, including Performer, Intern, Choreographer, Stage Manager, Lighting Designer, Teaching Artist and Assistant Director for countless productions. But her favorite hat to wear is Paparazzi to her pug, Chloe. Due to personal experience, Jessica's mission is to make theatre available to every child, especially at-risk youth....

Danielle is thrilled to be choreographing “The Wizard of Oz” for BAL this summer! She has had the good fortune to work all over the country as a performer, teacher, director and choreographer. Danielle’s recent performing credits include “The Pajama Game” and “Jerry’s Girls” at the Gallery Players here in Park Slope, “Motel Rasdell” directed by Tony Award winner Michele Pawk and The Evil Queen in “Snow White and the Battle for Pittsburgh”at the Heights Players. Other performing credits include: Lisa and u/s for Sophie in the original Las Vegas Company of “Mamma Mia!,” Dorothy in “The Wizard of Oz” (TUTS in Houston), Velma Kelly in “Chicago”, Sally Bowles in “Cabaret”, Erma in “Anything Goes” directed by Tony nominee Marcia Milgrom Dodge and the Snow Queen in “Snow Queen” for the late film director Garry Marshall. Danielle’s New York City teaching experience includes instruction in music theatre, dance, acting and choreography with various companies throughout the city including Applause, Stagecoach and New York Kids Club. Other teaching experience includes heading the musical theatre instruction for a number of camps and afterschool enrichment programs in Vero Beach, Florida; jazz, tap, lyrical and hip hop instructor and choreographer for StarStruck Performing Arts...

Brad Ogden is an actor and director who approaches all work like it's new. He is interested in reimagining time-tested stories, developing new work, and making ensemble-driven theatre from scratch. He is enthusiastic about dramaturgy and driven by theatre's ability to facilitate discourse and catalyze social change. Brad is a proud member of Actors' Equity. He shares a 2015 Barrymore Award for Outstanding Ensemble in a Play with the cast of Passage Theatre Company's world premiere production of Little Rock. Elizabeth Treimanis is a sophomore at New York University. She is pursuing a double-major in Dramatic Writing in the Tisch School of the Arts and Educational Theatre in the Steinhardt School of Culture, Communication, and Human Development. She has taught improvisational acting, theatre studies, and musical theatre to students of all ages. She also has training in acting, directing, stage combat, voice and speech, stage makeup, and costume design....

Danny Goodman is an actor and musician based in Brooklyn. Originally hailing from Wisconsin, he received his MFA in acting from The American Repertory Theater at Harvard University, and has performed nationally and internationally. Having been the lucky beneficiary of theater-based education at a young age, he continues to share his love of theater and music with young artists through performance and teaching....

Tessa Barlow-Ochshorn is a recent graduate of Tufts University with a B.A. in history and drama. A Brooklyn native, she is excited to be creating theatre in the city she loves. Her performance background is in classical and physical theater, clown and mime. Her other work at Tufts and beyond has centered on working with people of all ages to make vibrant, movement-based theater. She has assistant directed with Piper Theatre (Brooklyn), worked Shakespeare at the Grahamstown Theatre Festival (South Africa) and led mime and storytelling workshops with HYPE!
