School Break Programs

When schools are closed, Brooklyn Acting Lab’s doors are open for theatrical collaboration and PLAY!

Brooklyn Acting Lab’s School Break Programs are designed to inspire students – when they’re off – as they design props, costumes, set pieces, choreography and songs or pieces of music.

For our young PLAYers (grades K–3rd), daily-changing themes shape the stories we share, games we play and the art and music that are woven into each day’s play.

For tweens (grades 4th–7th), we offer a series of Master Classes – day-long intensives that offer a space to drop in and make friends while exploring and developing a skill like improv, theater dance, clowning, mime, acting on camera, and more.

Select a program and location below to view our 2018–19 school break programs (which follow the public school calendar), or customize a program for your school’s schedule (either at the BAL studio or onsite at your school).
