BAL offers immersive summer acting programs and theater camps at multiple locations in Brooklyn, for children of all ages. Weekly themes shape the stories we share, the games we play and the art and music that are woven into the flow of each day.

SCHOOL BREAK PROGRAMS

When NYC schools are closed, Brooklyn Acting Lab’s doors are open for theatrical collaboration and play! Aligning with the NYC public school calendar, we’ll work together to design props, costumes, choreography, songs and create a full-blown PLAY in just one day!

DROP-IN CLASSES

For students who want to “test-drive” a theater class or are unable to commit to a weekly schedule, BAL offers a limited selection of drop-in classes at online and at our various locations. Available for PK thru 12th graders, these classes can be purchased as single sessions.

PRIVATE COACHING

Offered virtually and in-person, BAL’s  private vocal and acting lessons help students find their voice and make important dramatic choices on-the-spot. Our professional audition prep program helps take the stress out of middle school, specialized high school, and university auditions.

CHILDREN'S ACTING CLASSES IN BROOKLYN​

Brooklyn Acting Lab nurtures new talent by providing comprehensive arts training and children’s acting classes for youth, tweens and teens. As a premier acting school for kids, BAL offers a variety of drama classes and theater programs and productions for children from Pre-k through 11th grade. We have multiple locations throughout Brooklyn, including Park Slope, Ditmas Park, and Carroll Gardens.
