Brooklyn Acting Lab offers affordable in-school residencies, on-site after-school residencies, summer and holiday break programs, and Theater for Young Audiences performances throughout the NYC metro area.

In-School

Residencies

It’s no secret that students involved in the arts tend to have higher academic performance, improved self-confidence, and better public speaking skills. BAL’s in-school residencies are designed to support learners on their journey of discovery and stimulate their thinking through interdisciplinary arts-practices.

After School

Residencies

BAL’s after-school residencies are developed and grounded in the needs of your community. Through a variety of theatre-based programming, we aim to help students develop integral skills, including the ability to work cooperatively with each one another to overcome obstacles and achieve a common goal.

School Break

Programs

When your school is closed, our doors are open. During Winter/Spring Recess, religious holidays, or national holidays, students can join Brooklyn Acting Lab to make a play in just one day! If your school’s holiday breaks differ from the DOE, contact Brooklyn Acting Lab to create a “Play in A Day” program specific to your calendar needs.
