Early Summer @ BAL
Rising K – 5th

From: $0.00

June 19 – 30 (weekly programs)

June 19-23 : The Speed of Light – optional

Get in your rocket ship and blast off as we travel at the speed of light! Sunlight takes about 8 minutes and 17 seconds to travel from the surface of the Sun to the Earth, so do you think we can make it to the Sun and back a few times in one day? With only cardboard boxes, tape, and markers, we’ll fashion our own jets and take off. After we break the sound barrier, there’s no telling what may ensue. Hop onboard! We’re going places!

Aftercare is available from 3pm-6pm Monday through Thursdays. $120/per week.

June 26-30 : Singin’ in the Rain – optional

What do we do when clouds cover the sun? Mope and stay inside? No! Sing, of course! With umbrellas, galoshes, and raincoats, we’ll take to the streets, lighting up Brooklyn with song! This week, we’ll sing, dance, and perform our way through the storm, kicking up puddles along the way.

Description

Start your summer with dramatic creativity! For our rising K-5th Graders who get out of school earlier for the summer, we offer two different theatrical programs to use our imaginations, build an ensemble, create, and have fun: June 19-23 (The Speed of Light) and June 26-30 (Singin’ in the Rain!). Begin your summer vacation with BAL!

Cost: $425/week before March 1st, $475/week after March 1st (includes BAL t-shirt).

The final weekly sharing, open to family and friends, is at Brooklyn Acting Lab (1012 8th Ave.) at 2pm.
